I’m MGS - “Outloud” to family and friends. I paint nouns: persons, places, and things the way I see them. My signature style is a blend of expressive brush strokes, distinctive lines, and optimistic personality. My paintings convey dual narritives, that of the subject and painter. The work is inspired and influenced by my day to day and daily studio grind. I believe the creative process challenges our intellect and exercises our emotional health. It cultivates meaningful connections within our communities and reminds us of our humanity. Â
