My work has always focused on an individual emotion that is captured through expression. Creating the work is a delicate dance of intuitive yet controlled, acting and reacting, relationship with the paint. Paint is organic, and my process allows me to convey the fluidity found in nature. The forms and movements that emerge are able to exist within their own capacity, captured in a moment. -Dirk Guidry
