I'd wave but my arm's too short

I am an artist working primarily in acrylics and incorporating the occasional collage. While using bold strokes partnered with emotive color, I remain focused on the figure. And the use of the figure has remained a constant whether it becomes conceptual, deconstructed or surrealistic. Self-taught with the occasional workshop, I have pursued the figure as a way of exposing my inner thoughts. They are running commentary, the inconsequential two second blurb that composes a day- to- day lifetime of childhood memories, chance meetings and overheard conversations. My art builds from those thoughts until they appear as statements on a visible canvas.
