"My work is inspired by several different roles I hold; a wife, a woman, and an artist. Ordinary life moments such as doing chores, hanging out, traveling, cooking, and gardening become the protagonists of my art scenes. I express my daily routines on canvas through bright colors, neat painting techniques, and joyful paint splatter. The art making process evokes my mundane but precious memories, and it concentrates my emotions on painting. Each painting represents the chapter of my own unique stories, and together they form the chronicle of my life." -Heather Yeo
